Scottish Warrior

Alex received his first traditional Scottish outfit for his birthday from his Great Aunt Mary. When Alex opened his package his first response was that of any typical American male - "It's a skirt." He refused to try it on, but when I told him it was the uniform of a Scottish soldier, he slowly warmed up. When I told him he could pose with a sword, he agreed. He surprised me by really having a great time dressed up. He ran to Jenna and proudly showed her his Scottish clothes. He cracked me up by saying the waist pouch was where the soldiers probably kept their bombs. Regardless, I think Alex looks absolutely handsome and so grown-up. Thanks Auntie Mary in Scotland (as she is referred to by the kids)!!
